Why we’re asking
Over the summer we asked visitors and residents how easy it is to find their way around the central area.
You said, we did
1,284 people responded before 18 Aug 2026. Thank you.
What we heard
- Many visitors read neither Arabic nor English and relied on others to find their way.
- Walking times to gates and bus stops were the most requested information.
- People using wheelchairs or pushchairs wanted step-free routes marked.
What we did
- Al Munawarah now offers automatic translation into seven more languages, alongside Arabic and English.
- Every place in the City Guide now shows its distance from the Prophet’s Mosque, and places can be sorted by it.
- A step-free filter was added to all places, and new signs are being designed with the Amanah.
