Accessibility statement
Al Munawarah is designed to be usable by everyone, in Arabic and English, on any device.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the platform. This statement explains what works today and what we are still improving.
What you can do
- Use the whole site with a keyboard, including menus, search and forms.
- Increase text size, switch on high contrast or reduce motion from “Accessibility” at the top of every page.
- Switch between Arabic and English on any page without losing your place.
- Use a screen reader: pages use headings, landmarks and labelled controls.
Known limitations
- Some partner platforms we link to are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
- The places map is schematic; every place on it is also listed as text.
